About us

The Sanderson Group works within the aggregate and road building industries across Canada.

We understand these industries and provide the expertise to help you meet your unique financial and succession planning needs.

The Sanderson Group has found that many operators in these industries need to focus on the challenges of managing license applications, tendering processes and other day-to-day business operations. Subsequently, they don’t have the time to plan the profitable transition of their business to the next phase and are often in need of comprehensive financial planning.

Jim Sanderson is a Portfolio Manager and Certified Financial Planner with more than 30 years of experience in the investment services industry. Through The Sanderson Group, he focuses on building and maintaining wealth for successful individuals and corporations in the aggregate and road building industries across Canada. Jim provides a comprehensive, consultative wealth management approach that is supported by a team of specialists in insurance, banking, trust and estates.

Jim graduated (with Honours) from the University of Windsor earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology in 1982. Subsequently, he worked for the Ontario Geological Survey of the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Ministry of Northern Development and Mines. Jim’s understands your business and is an expert in your field.
